Jonelle
Jonelle is a therapeutically qualified Optometrist who has worked with Dr McKellar since 2009.
Optometrists are trained in the management of eye disorders with glasses and contact lenses. Some are certified to treat primary eye disease.
Jonelle is an expert in measuring the optical and physical state of the eye. She assesses all patients prior to and following cataract surgery, laser and other types of refractive surgery. Jonelle can also advise patients on all matters relating to contact lenses and spectacles.
Jonelle also has an Honours degree in Biomedical Science and has a particular interest in ophthalmic research. She assists Dr McKellar with his educational projects and clinical research.
