Nikki
Nikki is an optometrist who has worked with Dr McKellar since 2002.
Optometrists are trained in the management of eye disorders with glasses and contact lenses. Some are certified to treat primary eye disease.
Nikki is an expert in measuring the optical and physical state of the eye. She asseses all patients prior to and following cataract surgery, laser and other types of refractive surgery. Nikki can also advise patients on all matters relating to contact lenses and spectacles.
Nikki is also committed to helping patients in the Two-Thirds world. She has been on several trips to Fiji with Volunteer Ophthalmic Services Overseas, most recently in 2005 with Dr McKellar to Labasa.
