Dr McKellar is a passionate fly fisherman and the co-founder of 'Eyes and Flies',  a small group of eye doctors who like to fish. 

Dr McKellar does most of his fishing on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Is it coincidence that he runs clinics in Hokitika and Greymouth on a regular basis?
